What are the chances of getting in here? Anyone got any experience of what their child was getting in standardised tests if they were successful? My daughter is very bright but I have no idea if bright enough!

How old is your dd as the prep school starts at year 3?
If you are looking from year 7 / age 11 your dd needs to be bright and an all rounder. You need to consider other schools at the same time as LEH isn't right personality wise for all dd and she won't get past the interview stage if she isn't what they are looking for.
Most dd sitting LEH are of the ability level to sit Tiffin first stage exam and are also considering a couple of the other numerous girls or mixed schools in SW London - the list is endless.
The best approach for your dd is to include LEH in a range of schools for your dd and not focus on any in particular.

Althougj it’s academically amazing , they have been heavily hit by pastoral issues this year - high mental health problems - within the school. it’s a highly pressurised environment so make sure it’s the right school for your DD and don’t look at just the results

should add though that it’s a great school for the right girl and as PP said , get her in sooner rather than later

If she’s very bright she has a very good chance of a place. My dd got in at 11 from a state school. She loves LEH, has a wonderful group of friends and is very happy there. They do work hard and it’s fast paced so they are looking for clever girls who can keep up. There’s also lots of sport & the music/drama is fantastic. It’s definitely worth a shot but do go for a range of schools in case as it can be unpredictable.

Thanks for the replies. We are moving to the area from the southwest. Will look into Tiffin as well then. DD is yr 5 now so needs to take 11+ entrance in november. Currently near top of class in prep school but not sure where that puts her in terms of London competitiveness

@StEvenEdge , look at elevenplusexams.co.uk for info on the Tiffin exam and try and find a local tutor to assess your dd when you move to the area. Other private schools to consider are Kingston Grammar, Putney/Wimbledon High, Surbiton High, St George's Weybridge.
Using a different fees structure - Epsom College and St Johns Leathehead.
