Sutton Grammar vs Wilson

This might be an never ending topic that being ask every year. We are relocating to the area, DS has accepted offer in Sutton Grammar and on waiting list to Wilson. DS is very geeky with narrow interest, no sports, arts or music for him for sure. Our waiting list position seems we may have a good chance of Wilson based on last years waiting list movements.

I am wondering which school may be a better choice for DS. He is definitely not the "Normal" kids and bit on the High functioning autism spectrum. He has now already mastered the Periodic table inside out. Anyone can provide some opinion? How Wilson comparing to SGS for this type of kids?

We are looking for a house at the moment. So which school he go will affect our house choice. Personally i like to be around Cheam and Sutton, but seems too far to commute for Wilson.

The market situation around Sutton is absolutely crazy, every house has 20+ viewings lined up within the first day on the market. It is difficult to get an appointment if you are not called within first two hours it gets on the market. Most houses needs best and final offer within three days. There is no time and compare or even get to know the area.

Both schools are great. Sutton has a mixed sixth form and Wilson's doesn't, so that might be a factor to consider

My son got an offer from Wilson's in July. He was 14 on the waiting list in April. We end up in Wilson's at the end as my DS prefer Wilson as the environment and facilities are much better. He is doing reasonably well there. I am surprised that he even has a few friends 😂.
