Hi all, I have not considered private school until I stumbled across this one. We are moving into the area soon and my DD is pretty young yet but I am wondering if anyone could advise on how best to prepare for the entry exams and when to start.

How old is your dd? LEH has a prep school from age 7 and they have an entrance exam you can take for entry into the prep school so you could consider that.
For entry at age 11 you need to consider other private options too because LEH is a high pressure environment and doesn't suit all dd. I have a ds at Hampton (next door school) so am familiar with the ethos of LEH.

You dont need to start preparing your dd until start of year 5 but if your dd is attending a state primary you will need a tutor or do the tutoring yourself .
If you think your dd is of the academic level for LEH then you should also consider Tiffin grammar for exam practice if nothing else. There is lots of Tiffin info on elevenplusexams.co.uk Surrey section.
