Seneca Premium disappointment

My son has used Seneca a lot over the past few years, particularly for science and it has been very useful for him.

Decided to upgrade in the run up to his GCSE exams but it really hasn't been worth it.

The main reason I upgraded was the predicted paper courses as I thought they would be very useful particularly for English Literature.

Posted too soon - soz.

Unfortunately they haven't updated the AQA English Literature course to reflect either the November 2020 or 2021 exams and with the actual exam on the 25th May they won't have time to.

It might be different for other options, but very similar questions to both the Animal Farm questions were set in the last 2 years and 2 of the 4 named Love and Relationship poems have also been used. I guess some credit is due as they clearly are pretty good at predicting papers - but it is no good unless they update the courses!

Also discovered today that the other predicted papers do not reflect the advance info which makes them a lot less useful than they should be.

Upgrading - definitely not worth it for us, I can only be thankful I didn't do it earlier.

That’s a shame, we’ve found them great, DC contacted them to ask for additional content to be added for one of their A levels and it was updated with the extra after the exam board updated a few months ago

have you tried contacting them for support and updates?

They won't be able to include the November 2021 papers because they are still locked and only available to schools. This is so that there is still a secure series of papers for Y10s to use in mocks.
It is likely that November 2020 papers have already been used as part of school assessments earlier in the year so that is why they won't be included.
