My daughter has had 6th form offers from Woodhouse College, St Mary Magdalene Academy and Fortismere. (She's on the waiting list for Camden and St Marylebone). Has anyone got any insights please into these three 6th forms? She's average academically and socially, not v. driven or organised, but will prob get decent GCSEs. Any thoughts much appreciated please!

Ooh! Don’t have any direct experience but all three are known to be good schools, well done to your girl on her offers and good luck in her a-levels.

A good friend’s daughter is in her first year at Woodhouse and is absolutely loving it, the teaching seems of a really high standard and they have high hopes and expectations for their students on where they go to uni. Pastoral support sounds good too. I don’t know the other schools so well but they have great reputations, sure she will do well at any of them.

Oops, mean good luck in her GCSEs!

I wonder if some sixth forms are stronger in some subject than others? What subjects will your daughter take?

Thanks for all your comments - still thinking, but SMMA looking most likely as it's closest to us.
