Our DD has been lucky enough to have been offered a place at both of these, what seem to be top schools albeit for different reasons. LMS is academically impressive but we have heard that it is over pressured, not diverse, has little concern for the girls’ mental well being and is stuck in the mud. Conversely Christs, on the face of it, has a great pastoral reputation but is not so hot academically. Having spoken to parents from both the former seems it could be true of LMS but not so sure about Christs. Comments have ranged from it is amazing and student performance and behaviour is excellent, to the children do not respect the teachers and the school uses its ethos of a holistic approach to the child to justify its not so good results. We believe that we are in such a fortunate position to be offered 2 such great schools but really need some insight from students, parents and teachers please on both. Thank you.
