Anyone’s teenager done one? Mine is struggling a bit with GCSE and skirting around foundation. I would love him to improve and enjoy it a bit more. I was thinking maybe a Spanish language school for a week this summer or an exchange?

My dd did 2 weeks in Salamanca with CESA Languages Abroad and loved it. I think that it helped that she's quite outgoing so made lots of new friends from all over the world that she still keeps in touch with 3 years later.

Their host families didn't speak any English (to them) so they were forced into speaking Spanish at mealtimes and always in class. Of course when it was just the teens together they would gravitate towards English but I still think she came back with more confidence in her ability.

@WhatHaveIFound that’s great thank you! I don’t think he’d agree to two weeks but I might manage one. We also have a contact in Madrid so I may ask about the possibility of an exchange.
