Maths extension work for year 8

Can anyone recommend some extension work (books or websites) for a year 8 student?

My son is doing OK at maths, but wants to work on it a bit at home himself.

Lots of schools use Hegarty Maths, they have a sister brand, numerise, that you can subscribe to.

If he enjoys maths he will probably like the (free) Parallel project, which gives new challenges every week:

This is a great website - you can just register and there is a puzzle set every week.
Your son could start on the Y7 or go straight onto Y8
Dr Frost Maths is also worth a look
