Has LU waitlist moved at all (for girls as assuming 2 lists )

Does anyone know if the LU WL has moved? asking for a friend non on MN.

I think has moved a bit- someone on another thread was offered a place. They won’t have separate lists for boys and girls.

Thanks @Wordlee will let her know. I guess the assumption was that half offers girls half boys but interesting they operate as one list.

I feel LU’s acceptance rate this year is higher than last year.
Especially HM’s talk on the offer holders’ event was impressive and quite a few families around me changed their mind and accepted offer from LU.

As far as I heard, they have no ranking in the list but in order to maintain the balance,
for example if state boy declines, another state boy is selected from the list so they tend to select same gender and school category. This might have been changed but it seemed to happen last year.

There has been slight movement this year and hope your friend’s DC will get in.
