Stowe School

My son has been offered a place for year 9. He has ADHD and ASD. There are no behavioural problems, and he is very bright. He is very sporty and has a good group of friends. He currently attends a fabulous prep where he has thrived (with very little intervention needed). I really liked the school and I will visit again to ask a few more questions, but what I was hoping for was another past or present parent from Stowe who has a dc with similar and how they got on.

Certainly wouldn't have been the right school when i was there in the mid 90's...

Personally, with ASD and ADHD, I'd be looking for the smallest school possible. Or maybe Shiplake, Kingham, or Sibford.

If you search OP there are threads on Stowe, pretty eye opening tbh! My own experience is only of a friend who decided very firmly against it.

Cant say that Stowe would be high on my list for a DS with those traits..
