Looking for some first hand experience of St Pauls' seniors. DS has a 13+ offer and was very impressed by the open day, but trying to get a sense of how much academic/competitive pressure there really is at the school. DS is not super-confident and has very broad interests rather than any one thing in particular he excels at. It has impressively stellar results, but no idea if DS would fit in and if it would be a significantly different experience or future opportunities vs. other SW London schools e.g. Hampton / LU / KGS.
It seems more serious/traditional and DS has gotten a sense that some of the other schools are more friendly and down to earth - but we are quite conflicted on helping him make the right choice. If he had been on the reserve list we would not have considered it at all.
Any any feedback on life at the school in general would be hugely appreciated!
