Canford school - Dorset

Any current or recent insight into Canford school in Dorset. Would be interested in first hand impressions/experience of the school of parents who have kids currently attending; what the local perspective is of the school compared to other senior independent schools in Dorset.

Canford is a great school, all of my children went/ go there full boarding. Don’t come home on weekends. Academically, they are all stretched & exceed expectations. One at Oxbridge. School supports students well pastorally & for exams. My advice is visit w your child. We visited many in S West and it was clear that Canford was well led & best. My impression is that they deal with & resolve issues quickly. Also, they had best housing, furniture and no bad smells.
