To say that they've confused this all even more by giving "advanced information" that really doesn't say a lot and most schools are advising to revise the whole course anyhow?

Agree with you. I have been trying to get my head round combined science today and have come to the conclusion that in order to revise the included content you need to revise pretty much everything else in the topic in order to really understand it. Waste of time.

Yeah, that's what I looked at too @cassgate It just seems unnecessarily complicated. DD is just going to crack on and revise like she would any other year. She's planning to do science A levels anyhow, so it won't do any harm.
