Seneca for revision

Hi Yr10 Ds had the basic Seneca provided through his school account. Many teachers as asking pupils to use it for revision for their mocks. I am just wondering if it would be worth paying for the upgraded subscription to help him. Has anyone used Seneca Exam boost thanks

My daughter uses it a lot, she really likes it.

She hasn’t asked me for the upgrade

I don't remember it being called 'exam boost' but my DC1 used the paid-for version in Y10 and Y11. It was useful for science in particular, especially biology as the amount of content to be covered was huge. I liked being able to subscribe for a month or so at a time so if it wasn't useful, there was the option to cancel it.

A student of mine used the premium and increased their grade at a level. Only a sample of one though :)

Thank you. He mentioned once he had answered a section he wasn't able to go back and redo with out upgrading. I will have a proper look at it. Good to hear it has been useful. Biology is his weakest science so may be worth it for that alone

My son is in Y11 and has used the free Seneca a lot mainly for science revision. It has been very helpful and he has had no problems with redoing unit.

I actually upgraded on Sunday to Exam boost, no evidence so far that it was worth it, but it is very early days. I think it is a shame you can’t join on a month by month basis with the only options being 4 months or 1 year.
