Mary Erskine School - Feedback needed

Hello Mums! We are new to Scotland infact New to UK and would appreciate any info on the Mary Erskine School. My DD has been offered a place in S1 after the entrance exam. How are the school results. Is it academic oriented or into sports or a bit of both. How are the teaching staff, are the girls friendly. Any info on this would be very helpful !!

My dd also went here. It is quite academic and most if not all of the girls go on to do very well. Exam results are excellent and comparable with other private schools in Edinburgh. Sports and Music are very highly thought of. Pastoral care is also very good. My dd was worried at first about making friends as most of the girls had been together in the Junior school, but it was OK and she has made some very good friends. Happy to answer any specific questions you may have
