Some of you may remember how gutted I was when dd got placed in the lower band at high school (and yes you all slagged me off for being unsupportive ).
Anyhoo she worked her butt off in her November tests and is now being placed in the upper band after Xmas
All perks have been returned (PS,TV,Nintendo etc) and I have bought her a phone as promised.
To make it even sweeter I got a card in the post today from her head of year saying how well she had done in the last few months and how pleased they all were with her progress.
I am bursting with pride for her, I knew she could do it, and now she's proved it to herself
