GCSE Geography websites and videos - are there any?

DD (Year 11) makes extensive use of websites and videos, from Hegarty maths, to Tassomai, to Mr Bruff and competitors, to lots of science videos, but she can't find anything for Geography other than Bitesize and Seneca.
Are there other options out there for Geography? She is doing Edexcel B, and I know the Geography boards differ more than most subjects, but still, it seems rather surprising that there are no keen geographers out there making videos or quizzes in the same way there are for other subjects.
Anybody have any further suggestions?

Planet Lacey, Mrs geography, Mrs Edgeworth - All on YouTube

Quizlet is another good source of revision

Plus past papers

Thanks @Wowwellokthen I have passed on to DD, and will see whether these fit the bill. Much appreciated.

mostly aligned with IGCE but both have lots of good content:

geography pods

geographer online

Thanks @pilsnot3 - I have no idea how different the IGCSEs are to the regular GCSEs, but I have passed the information on.

Another option is Seneca learning. She will need to search for the edexcel course. It is interactive and adaptbsed on student responses.

Naem · 19/12/2021 14:54

@niclw She has already tried Seneca (and Bitesize). For some reason she says that the Seneca isn't sticking.

For the poster up above who suggested various options on Youtube - DD like Planet Lacey, thought it was very clever linking rivers to minecraft. Less impressed with the others. Hasn't tried the IGCSE links provided yet.

Also she does use BBC Bitesize and textbooks, and she will also do random searches for gcse maths and science and loads of videos will come up and then she will pick ones that look on topic. She is just not finding the same with Geography.

BTW she says that a lot of other people like "free science lessons" but DD thinks those are boring.

Yes free science lessons good but dry...primrose kitten is more engaging. Try wordwall for quick quizzes...I am a teacher and have an account but I think you can search the community section under a free account.
