Harrodian school - senior

Can anyone give me thoughts on the senior school? We got the impression on visiting that there was a lot of wealth and the children are likely to be very sophisticated, not least because of their international experience.

Also we live west past Richmond. Will the children be very much central london based, so very difficult to make friends?

Otherwise it is my favourite of the second tier schools. The other options are Kew House and Emanuel school.

@Hello25 , if you are west of Richmond I would look more down into Surrey or out to M25 than into london. Yes Harrodian is wealthy with celebrities etc having dc at the school.

Friends sent their DC there and rate it very highly.

Harrodian has loads of children from Barnes, sheen, mortlake, Richmond, Putney, Fulham, Chelsea and Chiswick. There are those who live further away, like in any private school. As for the celebrities - I think it’s mn’s myth.

@Hello25 Yes there is wealth there, but not a huge amount more than others imo.
When new to this senior indie adventure, I was discussing Harrodian at another school open day and was told if I didn't own a villa in St.Barths I wouldn't fit in! ;-)
However I know a few "very normal" families there and they are very happy. (Richmond based)
Yes there are a few high profile celeb's kids there. One actually "outed" the Headmaster of her kids on a prime time TV show!
We liked it too, and the no uniform policy gives it a more relaxed vibe.
In take numbers are fairly limited due to their year 6 kids moving up to senior school.
