Does anyone have any experience of either of these schools and which one would be best for someone that enjoys art music drama and sport

I only know one! Heathfield. I cannot compare Ascot schools as DD was 6th form only. She enjoyed art and it worked for her. Art was not great at her previous school, hence the move: see below!

If your DD would weekly board, I would say Queenswood in Hertfordshire is much stronger on all 3 criteria, especially sport and drama. I can compare these 2 schools! But if you wanted Art and a very small caring ethos where individuals matter, then Heathfield is great.

A child who enjoys art music drama and sport would have good opportunities at either school. For transparency I have a child at HF who is very happy and is flourishing - the attitude of the staff to encourage each pupil individually is outstanding, but I have good friends who are just as happy with SGA. There are slight nuances between the two schools - more boarding at HF, and thus more activities at the weekends for day and boarding (which you may or may not want). Both schools very very good for art.
