Tiffin Boys exam

Hi Mums
I am a little confused about how to prepare my boy for the Tiffin Stage 2 exam for next year as the format keeps on changing. Can someone please tell me what was the format of comprehension and creative writing this year (how many questions and how much time). Do they give picture composition as well for creative writing ?

There will probably be late sitters so hopefully this will get answered after everyone has sat the paper this year.

@Magtag , it looks like you are on the elevenplusexams website which has clarified the position re posting exam content information.

If you have a whole year why not look at the papers on independent school websites like Sevenoaks, Alleyns etc- lots of English papers. Also do eg stage 2 st olaves sample paper. I wouldn’t get too bogged down on a particular format if they do keep changing it. Creative writing is meant to be just that - creative. Can be anything from rewrite a story from a nee characters point of view, letter, personal experience etc- there are creative writing courses you can sign up to. Whilst a bit of practice is commendable too much can actually put a child off and stifle their creativity.
