So, parents evening
Every single teacher said he needs to believe in himself because he shuts down when he thinks he can't do it. He's capable of passing all 11 GCSEs if only he would have faith in himself
I must admit I'm not very patient - combo of a busy job and then home life and I have limited 'bedside manner', and I find it hard to be patient with him when he's having a 'moment' which then escalates to 'everything I do is wrong' but I do constantly say how brilliant he is. But it's hard to hear 'I'm useless' from him when he can't do something
Anyone know of any good techniques that I can use to build his confidence up with school work. Or any tips for him to start to believe in himself ?
