GCSE Revision Resources - a list

GlitterBiscuits · 29/10/2021 08:58

I thought I'd try to get together a list of useful books, websites etc to help our DC with GCSE revision.

BBC Bitesize- covers lots of subjects

Mr Bruff - English Lit on You Tube

I'm currently trying to persuade my DC to open some of the CGP revision books I bought for them so I can't report back on that until they put their phone down!

Please add to the thread if you can.

You should also check what is available through school. DC's school has (for example) GCSEpod which has loads of material on.

This is really useful, thank you abs had reminded me to ask DD about GCSE pod. I'm sure the school mentioned it when DS was doing his GCSES.

You can also order cheap workbooks from Amazon. Try using old exam paper questions as a means of revision too, you can always adapt them. It worked for me when I did revision. Another thing, you can consider hiring a tutor part or full time in case additionally. I used to find math videos not very helpful but that was me only. But what helped me was the use of color a lot.

This is such a good idea.

I haven't had a thorough look at this yet. Lots of different subjects and some parts appear to be free after you register
