Interview questions Emanuel

Hello,

We’re waiting to hear the date for my daughter’s interview at Emanuel.

I’m a bit disappointed it’ll be online, I think she would engage better face to face.

Can anyone remember the topics your DD/DS were asked in the past couple of years?

I know they say they try and make it easy for the kids but is is usually just personal questions like, what are your hobbies?

Would they ask stuff like , what book are you reading, tell me about it?

Do they ever ask, why do you want to come to this school? (My daughter would say, my parents say so…)

Her school will do interview practice, but they’re open to rehearse any particular questions we may suggest.

Did you see the guide to interviews on the Emanuel website? Talked about an object of interest and a form parents fill in before the interview with child’s hobbies
