Downe House Y7 admissions

Hello

I was hoping someone might know when DH makes their conditional offers for Y7 2022? Also, I know the conditional offer is dependant on performance in Common Entrance in January, but if you have a conditional offer are you most likely going to get an unconditional offer next year unless you really don’t do well in CE? Or are lots of conditional offers made and then whittled down to actual offers next year?

just wondering whether your DD sat the Pre Test for Downe House in the end and if so how did she find it?

My DD sat the pre-test around October/November last year for year 7 entry. She did the online version as we weren’t in the U.K.

She said it was pretty straightforward. There were English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal papers. Different length papers but the whole thing took 2.5 hours.

Did you happen to know what scores she achieved? DD is sitting the exam in less than two weeks!

I think around 125 CAT score. I can’t remember exactly, sorry.
