Ah, a bit of nostalgia! Exactly 3 years ago I shipped my very first GCSE revision Study Buddy bundle. I didn't have a website or, for that matter, a finished product! I had to send out a prototype model!! My first customer came thanks to my original mumsnet.com post, back from when I was just sharing an idea on coping with revision with DS, Jake. And it took me well over three hours to compile everything (including an AS Level that I wasn't planning on doing!)
All those years of just-in-time project management, insane levels of task juggling and generally trying to get away with it really paid off!
Even after a couple of tricky years, it's an amazing feeling to know the brand and company you created is making a difference to exam-facing students - and stressed out parents! And, I'm delighted to report that we're an altogether slicker operation with a growing database of over 450 courses!
Just like back then, I'm really happy to share the tips for anyone else struggling with a reluctant or maybe anxious teen.
