Anyone else got kids here?
my child has been there a month, I still have no idea whats going on with homework, he gets detention almost everyday now upto 60 mins he has given up and hates the school, he is stressed and miserable and depressed.
all the homework is online it is issued via app with links to websites like Quizlet and Educake.
he goes on the sites he does the work, he gets 80% results correct or more.
then we wait, and every time it happens on the app, it reports that he has not handed in his homework or that it is inadequate (whatever that means) so 20 mins detention every time.
I have spoken to them in person about how is he meant to hand in work we dont know how, why if he getting detention for answering questions with 80% efficiency they wrote stuff down and said they would get back to me, that was 2 weeks ago and still the detentions go on.
I tried emailing I got no response.
I went to reception they said I must email and gave me another email address I emailed that 3 days ago still no response.
how do you hand in homework at Ark Acton Academy? what is the online score thats enough to pass maths?
does anyone here know I am desperate, my son is SEN (ASD) he got that place via CAMHs it was the only school out of 3 that would take him, if I give up and change schools how do I do that? do I contact CAMHs and talk to them about finding him a place elsewhere and where is good for SEN in the area? he was turned down for Twyford C of E and Ade Lovelace.
help please.
