Sixth form recommendations in west or central London

My dd wants to change schools after GCSEs. How do you find out which sixth forms are best? She wants mixed sex, near a Tube, good reputation for academics and extra curricula life.

So far we are thinking of applying to Holland Park (but recent media reports make me worry), Grey Coat (but its not mixed) and maybe Twyford (but we are not religious so won't get in). Any other ideas?

Grey Coats is mixed in 6th form. There is Marylebone girls which is mixed sixth form. I personally wouldn't go anywhere near Holland Park. It's in real trouble. There is also Camden School for Girls, as well as La Swap college which has great rep.

Holland Park might be OK in a year or two, when it has a new head, but while it has any of the current leadership team still present - avoid, avoid, avoid. It's an authoritarian hellhole, rife with bullying and abuse (of the teachers and students, by the leadership team), and it doesn't even deliver on results.

I would add the the facilities at HP for 6th form are quite poor compared to other places, and there is a strict dress code.

Have you considered Kensington Aldridge or Chelsea Academy? (Latter on overground rather than tube).
