Hi all, I’m new here.
I am thinking to send our twin girls to private girls secondary in a few years time. They are currently in Yr3. Elder twin is academic who’s exceeding all the way, shes a role model type of student in her peer group; whereas younger twin is average but full of confidence, enthusiastic in learning and adventurous!
Has anyone’s DD had experience with 10+ at ND or Sutton High please? What was it like? Is it equally as hard to get in as 11+?
It’s hard enough to choose a school for a DC let alone for twins! Any twin parents here pls could you share some tips? Did you choose schools for your twins based on their own academic abilities/interests? Or ones that have something to offer both needs& interests, that said, the chosen schools are probably not as selective, if one of the twins is not as academic to ensure both would get in….? I would like to hear from parents who’s been through this process as I don’t know what’s the best way to go forward…
I know I am starting way too early, but I want to do my research early so I have a clear plan, and some back up plans for them.
Thank you so much for reading this. 🙏🏻

Don’t know the specifics of the schools but I know lots of people who’ve sent their twins to different secondary schools if different schools suit them better.

Thank you @dreamingofbeaches2022. That’s good to know. I suppose it makes perfect sense to send twins to different schools, if they are very different in many aspects.

These schools dont normally have a cross over in terms of deciding between - where do you live? Are you moving?

I would second if one is academic and would thrive somewhere like Nonsuch but not the other then you make the choices for what would be best for each child not what would be average for both. Others may disagree though.
