Anyone else go to the open evening? I’m all for behaviour being good, but my overwhelming impression was a cold, uncaring school. It seemed cramped and worn, very few pupils to talk to, and then only year 7, so hard to get an opinion out of. The head mentioned ‘caring’ and ‘pastoral care’ but gave no examples. DD is bright and may excel, but god forbid if you didn’t get a topic I didn’t get the impression the teachers would be able to support you!
