Hello! I have a child in yr 6 in London and we may be moving to just outside Beccles and I wondered if anyone could give me some insider info on secondary schools in the are? I’m not interested in high achieving academic schools, my son is mildly dyslexic, and I don’t want his spirit crushed by secondary school (I’m a little jaded from my older child being crushed by hers, so please bear with me!). I have no idea about the high schools to Beccles (or nearby) , ideally I’d like one where he isn’t going to get detention for wearing non black socks, and he won’t be judged on his hand writing- he is very intelligent and creative, loves to read but writing isn’t his strong point. Would love ANY insider knowledge :) thank you xx
