Bacon's College secondary school - thoughts?

I'm looking at secondary schools that are easily commutable and Bacon's is close to Canada Water but as I don't live nearby I'd like to know what its reputation is like? Gov't data only shows 2019 due to pandemic, but school website shows improvement since academisation. Any thoughts/insight please?

I've only got second hand knowledge but the general opinion is that Bacons has gone massively downhill. Apparently the students are constantly causing problems in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre and school result are quite bad.

I’ve got a friend who is pleased with it. Her DC has just done REALLY well in GCSEs there. Not sure how much of that is down to family support though - probably a lot.

Forget the prospectus and the open day/evening stage managed spin. Your child's academic outcomes will be most heavily influence by factors in the home and close community.
