As if I was a 5 year old, as google is only showing me UCAS points.

DS got P1 and M1, what are those equivalent to?

I don't know what the 1s are but for level 3 BTECs (A level equiv) 4 years ago a Pass was an E grade equivalent, and a Merit a C grade.

If this is GCSE equivalent (ie Level 2) then I don't know.

Ok so, my DS got a P2 for his level 2 BTEC in Enterprise

Sorry baby decided to post that before I finished.

From what I can understand it means a Pass at level 2.

So a P1 is a pass at level 1 and an M1 is a merit at level 1.

I think

Pass is a C
Merit is a B
Distinction is an A

Grades go from lowest to highest:
P1, M1, D1, P2, M2, D2

This table shows equivalents.

Thank you @LadyPenelope68

DS has SN and only sat a couple of subjects, so that makes sense given his level of competency.
