Our Secretary of State for Education can remember vividly the day he got his A Level results. Unfortunately, he 'cannot remember' what those results were. Worrying memory loss in a comparatively young man.

Blimey Im a lot older than Gav and i can still remember i got B,D,E - in those days it wasnt great but good enough to get me on a well respected course at a polytechnic. I can still remember the exact details of getting said results but perhaps, despite having slightly crappy Alevels I have an exceptional memory. All my friends who are the same age can also remember thier Alevel results too - so perhaps Im not so exceptional!!!

Ps None of my Alevels were English - science based. Just re- read my post and spotted so many typos!!!

If you didn't get the A level results you wanted today remember I got a C and two U's and I still became the Secretary of State fro Education…

Well obviously it's only ever a starting point. I don't have the time to follow up the reference but the other details on his education are correct.
The fact remains that claiming not to remember your A Level results is a tad odd.

Given my mother can remember hers ans she is 71, he needs to see a specialist asap...

Kwarteng has had a stellar education (winning scholarships), but I don’t think The Boy Gavin would be educationally challenged by Patel.

Kwarteng has scholarships and a first from Cambridge!
