Brighton Girls School

Hi,

Does anyone have any current experience of this independent school? We are considering looking at it for our dd for y7 entry. There are some very old threads about it saying that their dc hadn't had a great time there, and I just wondered if those issues had improved in recent years?

I think this school has had a period in the doldrums and numbers have been falling. However, it got a new head last year and she is apparently very dynamic and determined to drag the school into the 21st Century - lots of new and interesting ideas - plus a large investment from the GDST. I think it's a school on the up!

Not aware of the numbers falling.
A lot of changes at the moment but it's a good school and very "normal"
