Boy Senior School - lots of walking - backpack help please

My son has quite a journey to get to school and I need a good quality backpack for him.

Any recommendations?

I suffer with back problems in adulthood and am conscious of getting something that is healthy as well as practical and of course meets teenager style!

Thanks @AuntieStella sadly the one he has had for the last two years (and loves and doesnt want to replace) is the North Face Vault and it has been ok but the sternum strap broke about a year ago.

I dont feel its supportive enough when it is full without the strap. I have messaged North Face to see if they will repair / have any suggestions but due to it being a couple of years old, I am not overly hopeful. Unless they have exceptional customer service, who knows.

We like the Swizz Gear one so robe gave us. I’m not sure what model it is though. Lovely comfy straps and actually waterproof.

Worth also checking he's only carrying what he needs- my son has a tendency to carry all his books in every day rather than sort them out.
