Sexey's School Bruton

Hi everyone, I am thinking of sending my child to Sexey's school Bruton. I know there is a relatively new Head and while the latest Ofsted isn't too good, the school seems nice. I am looking at boarding. I've seen some comments regarding the safety & bullying within the boarding. Any feedback, comments would be much appreciated. Many thanks

The Ofsted is not just 'not too good', it's dire, and there are reasons for that.

If you're after state boarding, then there are many other options available to you without the slew of unresolved problems that Sexeys currently has.

Thank you @Effzeh, you made a good observation on other options. After much thought, I've decided to investigate other state boarding schools before we commit to any. Thank you for the honest opinion.

I think your information is out of date - the most recent Ofsted visit reports have shown that all of the issues have been resolved and it’s a great school. I’m sure if you contact the school for current parent reviews they’d be more than happy to put you in touch.

I am a current boarding parent, and I stand by my comments.

I’m so sorry to hear this as it’s not the experience I’ve had.
