Good morning! Please can you help me? I am a teacher carrying out research on online schooling. That is, schools that provide education everyday in an online environment. This research is unconnected to the type of provision good or bad you may have experienced over the last 12 months, although it may help with your decision making!

If your children attends school virtually or you were to consider choosing the education type please can you give reason(s) why.

I have a DD just going into year13 at an online school, she’s been there for nearly 7 years with an EHCP
We chose to place her there due to complex disability needs that meant attending lessons in person was not possible
DD is extremely bright and needed academic challenge but on her own terms

For us it’s been a resounding success
