ban on yr 11 study leave????where is there any info on this???

They still have year 11 study leave at DD3's school and she wil have it for her mocks which start in a fortnight. DD1 now 20 always said she revised a lot better at home than at school. I actually think it is good for children to have time at home during their exams.

The study leave starts when the exams start so she will just go in when she has an exam.

It's up to schools, as far as I know, rather than being a clear "ban". We stopped it about 4 years ago and I think schools get extra money for keeping them in school. Most of ours wouldn't revise at home, so we keep them as long as possible (inner-city school)!!!
