We’re starting to think about Senior school options for our DS (currently in Yr3). For a variety of reasons we’d like to secure an offer for Yr9 entry in advance, Yr6 or maybe Yr7.
We’re based in the South West, so could consider boarding (Co-Ed or Boys only) within about an hour of Wiltshire. DS is academically strong, especially in maths and English. He enjoys sport, but doesn’t excel.
I get the impression more schools are looking to offer places in advance with Yr6 pre-tests. I’d be really interested to hear recommendations for schools that fit the brief.
