Hi

Does anyone have any insight into how competitive both of these schools are at 13 plus entrance?

I have a daughter with mild autism, fairly average CAT scores.

I don't have any bang up to the moment information, but Caterham are pretty selective, unless it is to their own students coming up from prep into Year 7. Royal Russell is less so.

Thanks for sharing, why are Catherham selective do you know ? It's not very high up on the league table. It seems a nice school

Which league tables? Independents do not have to subscribe to them. Caterham is pretty selective at entry although slightly flexible for those with excelling at sports, music and drama. Certainly more academically selective than RR and significantly better results.

Yes it's a bit odd not to join league tables it's normally what a full boarding school would do, there results do not seem any different from an Top 100 independent school. There isn't anything demonstrating it's an academic school to me. But of course I may be wrong.

The schools accessibility is an issue for me in any case as I won't be able to drop my child abs pick him up every day .
