Hello Everyone, we are looking to move with our 2 boys age 6 and 10. We found a place in Sovereign Harbour but we still not sure if this is the right move. My older might go to St Catherine Seniors in September and the little one hopefully to Havens or pevencey and West Ham. We don’t not about the schools that much but Generally it’s seem good schools. I was wondering if any one know this schools and generally Sovereign harbour area? Someone said to me the Senior school St.Catherine is very close to Langley area and it’s known for bad behaviour and drug problems, I am a bit worried if this reflects on the school in the area too. but this doesn’t mean everyone is like that! Eastbourne looks lovely place and everyone we meet is very friendly l!

Any advice will help a lot.
Thank you all.

Langney has a fair bit of social housing, but plenty of normal families live there. St Catherine's is considered a good school and has a pretty wide demographic of students there.
Pevensey and Westham is oversubscribed - do they have a place? Very popular school, lots of new housing around the area so will only put pressure on places. Harbour is nice enough area, bit crowded maybe but big mix of houses there - some of the more exclusive ones go for well over £million, but mostly family homes. The area with restaurants is lovely in summer - we go there often to eat or just walk around. Can easily walk to the main seafront in Eastbourne from there. It feels separate enough from Langney I think.
