Tonbridge v kings Canterbury school

Any opinions on choosing between these two schools?
All boys? Versus coed
I have been warned that Tonbridge is an ‘academic hot house’ hard and that kings Canterbury is softer all round with a healthy balance. A clever boy could do well at both but have a better balance at kings? Any opinions.
Any opinions from parents at these schools?
Thank you

Yes, boys' school vs co-ed. Also, King's Canterbury is very much a full boarding school, Tonbridge School is mixed day/boarding. My son is at King's, I have no personal experience with Tonbridge. King's has breadth. Several individual sports are options for 'Games' lessons, from the start of Year 9. The school really works with multi-lingual pupils to get their other mother tongues to a high level as well. King's is very old and quite English in appearance, but its ethos is modern and international.

Thank you very much for that feedback. It seems far more modern despite it’s historic surroundings. I like the sound of international and modern ethos.
I am not getting a good response about Tonbridge just academic and results? Are boys happy there? Aside the academics?

I heard the art department at Kings Canterbury was very good but I don't know if that's still the case. This was a few years ago.
