Secondary schools in Cornwall. How about St Pirans?

Hello all, We live in Cornwall but considering a move further west near Hayle and would be interested to hear views on secondary schools in the area (we have boys), state and private (currently state). I think the only private option appears to be St Pirans but I can't find any reviews, so feedback on all/any would be much appreciated. Thank you! Daffodil

I’ve been looking too with no luck - only the st pirans in Maidenhead comes up... I have family down there and are trying their sources, will share if they find anything

It has a good name around the area .. it’s very small / small classes which I guess is the appeal for some. But I don’t have children there so can’t speak from that side. I know families that live in the Hayle/Camborne area that use Truro private school. I believe St Piran’s head may be due for retirement soon.
Secondaries that are also currently popular are Camborne science and international academy and mounts bay. Camborne also has an additional section for gifted children called Nexus.

@MudAndMess you might be able to post on local Facebook groups around the area and get some useful feedback from parents :) search Hayle or wherever it is perhaps
