Reallocation day tomorrow

Hi all it’s second round of reallocation day for secondary schools tomorrow where we live. How much movement are we likely to see and what time will it all happen? We are inside top 10 for a place at preferred school so have everything crossed

I think that’s very dependant on the area to be honest...different councils will have different procedures and times that they do things. Whereabouts are you?

There is a thread a bit further down called waiting lists. Some people on there have already been offered places in other LAs.

We can’t even find out our place on the waiting list yet- they’ve not been published apparently but our reallocation isn’t until April.

Never heard a thing no news good news I suppose

Maybe email them? I emailed and got told a letter with a school offer has been sent in the post.

I asked to be put on the list of an undersubscribed school I knew still had places. We will need to relocate but the move will actually benefit us as a family in more ways than just a vastly better school. So I’m feeling quite excited.
