Merchiston Castle school

Hi,
Anyone had any experience with the application, assessment process and the school in general at Merchiston Castle School. My son is going to be sitting a virtual assessment for S1 entry in a few days and was just looking for some extra info about the school on general as we haven't had the opportunity to have a tour.

I am also considering George Watson if things don't pan out well at MCS.

Excellent school with fabulous pastoral care. Achieves good exam results and of course the sport is superb.
Nurturing, inclusive family environment.
Communications between school and parents is one of the best. Produces lovely, polite all round young men that any parent would be proud of.
