Hi - am considering secondary schools for my Yr 5 daughter, CAT score is around 113, so probably won’t get in to grammar.
We’d like co-ed ideally, but realise its slim pickings! She is a bright girl, who loves school & getting stuck in with all the activities etc. She’s not particularly sporty, but enjoys it.
We live close to Beaconsfield & are considering Claires Court & LVS. I’d be really grateful to hear people’s experiences of these schools or any other suggestions.
We’ve joined a few online open mornings, but its hard not being able to visit at the moment.
Any advice welcomed!

I hear good things about Claires Court, LVS not so much, but things could have changed. They had a very poor inspection report a couple of years ago, but I presume youve seen that? Have you considered Piper's? I hear very good things about that, although it's not mixed.

St Mary's in Gerrards Cross?

There's also the girls' school in Rickmansworth, whose name I always forget. Most do seem to be single sex though, except for CC & LVS.

Royal Masonic?

We realise that co-ed won’t necessarily be an option, so we’re happy to consider girls schools too. My concern with St Mary’s is that it may be too small and I’m wondering how progressive it is.
If anyone has any recent positive/negative experiences with LVS/Claires Court/St Mary’s/Pipers Corner, I’d be really interested to hear them!

Have you considered Shiplake College? Might work well from what you've said.
