School catchment - Bottisham / Burwell ??

Hi, wondering if anyone can help please!

Looking to move house, key part being in catchment for bottisham secondary school. Currently renting in a nearby village, DC in a different village school which feeds into Bottisham, and our current village rental address is in the catchment for Bottisham.

I’m really keen to buy, I can finally make the finances work, and have seen a house in Burwell but I’m confused as to if it’s in the catchment or not? On the Cambridgeshire gov.uk site, using the interactive map, two schools come up when I hover the house address - it lists Soham and Bottisham - can you be in catchment for two schools??

Can’t seem to find anything about this.

Don’t want to view the house if it’s actually out of catchment (well i might, but I want to know). The schools issue is really dominating the house choice!

They list their catchment based on primary school catchment areas for their feeder primaries:

Yes, thanks for replying - maybe I’m over thinking it :) It’s a bit confusing when you get into the over subscription criteria and it talks of the ‘catchment area’.

The kids are currently in one of those primary schools listed. The house I am looking at has Burwell Primary listed as the catchment primary school, though I plan to see their time out in their current primary school if we move rather than changing and getting them resettled. Ok - I’m thinking this is grand...

Maybe it’s just a red herring but on the .gov website there is a small triangle in Burwell (where this house is) where both Soham and Bottisham are listed as the catchment secondary school. I haven’t seen a choice of state schools listed before. I’m not from the uk so this process is a bit alien to me.
