Hi OP, I've got no direct experience but just a suggestion that you could try posting on the Muswell Hill Mums and Dads FB group as you'd likely get some opinions on there!

Hi! My daughter is at Fortismere in year 8. She is very happy at the school. She enjoys the work, and has made friends. The school has helped her enjoy subjects that she didn't think she would like. She particularly enjoys the MEP. The school has managed COVID really well.
We haven't had any communication from the school about progress since she started. Other than a brief assessment report a few weeks ago. (Just a series of numbers). There has also been very little homework. My daughter had an independent tutor to check her progress, and they report she is doing very well.
We are not and never planned to send my son. He is easily distracted and we need more feedback about his progress.
We are happy with the school .

I am not surprised she is upset, those are two completely different schools. Has he already left? If he is in y11 she should've still got in.
Can you keep her on the waiting list? There's no upfront cost with fortismere on uniform so no worries there. I'm sure there is a parent out there that wanted fortismere not archer.

thank you
the sibling policy applies to pupils in school AS OF SEPT 21 unfortunately and since Archer doesnt have a 6th form we dont get in on a sibling place
still hoping we may get in on waiting list
