RGS wait list

Hello everyone

Hope everyone is surviving making a decision and State school offer day. What a minefield it is!

I was just wondering if anyone is on the RGS wait list or has been on one in the past and has any advice? DS is on the wait list so we're anxiously waiting. Does anyone know if they generally over offer anyway so the chances of actually getting to the waitlist are slim? It's such a hard wait. Many thanks in advance.

There seems to be a few people on other threads on here that got multiple offers and some are definitely turning down RGS so hopefully that means there is movement on the waitlist. Places have to be confirmed by this fri 5th so hopefully you will know more next week. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for replying @Locallady21. Fingers crossed! I've actually been in contact with the admissions lady at RGS and she said a significant amount of people haven't replied to them yet even though the deadline is tomorrow at midday so people are obviously (and rightly so) thinking through their decision. I'll just have to play the waiting game!

We’re likely to release a place and know a few others who are likely to as well so hope it works out!

I know of five or six boys who are releasing RGS offers this week...fingers crossed you get some good news today!
