I have twins at different schools.
Both picked Spanish, drama, history and then one picked PE and the other dance.

carben · 27/02/2021 14:34

Twins - one Triple Science (used up 1 option), Computer Science, Design & Technology and French. The other Triple Science, French, History, Religious Studies.

GU24Mum · 27/02/2021 14:56

Mine did a language, 3 x humanities and drama with double science. People outside school occasionally commented about the three humanities but we're not a family of scientists so it always seems odd that no one ever says now that three different sciences is a bit much!

I'm glad she kept it quite broad as she ended up not liking the ones she'd thought she most wanted to do.

Hersetta427 · 27/02/2021 16:57

Dd is picking hers at the moment. She is already taking triple science (top set take triple) and she is choosing Geography, Spanish, RS and PE. Think she would have preferred to take history to geography but the options blocks didn't allow it.

Silkies · 27/02/2021 17:10

DD - Triple Science plus Statistics, Level 3 Additional Maths, Computing, RE and History.

DS - Triple Science plus Statistics, Level 3 Additional Maths, Computing, French and Geography

Ours aren't allowed to do all 3 humanities - DD wanted to but was told it wasn't balanced so she did computing, no idea how that makes her balanced but its a different box for school.

Maybemay123 · 27/02/2021 17:20

Dc1 did double science, photography, geography and religious studies.

bonbonours · 27/02/2021 17:24

At our school you get no choice about science, you have to do triple GCSE science. Also have to do one language, if you do two it uses one of your options. They have three options subjects.

Dd1 music art drama and French At the time it made sense as she was a performance geek. Since then her personality has changed a lot and I wish she wasn't taking drama. I don't give a shit about the "English Baccalaureate" thing and the school (a grammar school) head has made it clear he doesn't either. They value the arts just as much hence allowing them to choose three arts options.

Dd2 about to choose, and I think she is going to do French and history probably with design tech, and maybe film studies (which is like English and drama mixed with computer tech as they do film editing and production as well as analysis). Or she might do geography...

Clymene · 27/02/2021 18:39

Business studies, geography and RS. Chose Spanish as the MFL. I think they're okay choices as his passion is English. I wanted him to do drama because I think the skills are useful but he was v resistant!

dizzydizzydizzy · 27/02/2021 18:57

DC1 - triple science, French, History, Art
DC2 - double science, French, History, Art, BTEC Sport

troppibambini6 · 28/02/2021 09:19

History, computer science, drama and Spanish
RE is compulsory. She did double science and didn't do further maths.

MarshaBradyo · 28/02/2021 09:22

History, Triple Science, Music, French, Computer Studies, Further Maths (not sure if separate or part of same and added on)

mamaoffourdc · 28/02/2021 09:24

Art, DT, computer science and geography

mamaoffourdc · 28/02/2021 09:25

And the other one art, history, drama and business

AdventCaroline · 28/02/2021 14:28

Dc picking at the mo:

Spanish and French
History
Either media or drama, we are going round in circles as she loves both.

Double science (triple takes an option block.)
